Our mentors guide you through the process of choosing the right format, highlighting your skills and experiences, and showcasing your achievements. We’ll also cover what not to include (no, you don't need to list your pet hamster as a reference). By the end of this section, you’ll have a polished resume that tells your unique story in a way that resonates with college admissions or potential employers.

• Interview Preparation: Next, we dive into the art of the interview. This part of the course covers everything from how to dress for success (hint: pajamas are a no-go) to how to answer common interview questions with confidence. We'll explore techniques for managing nerves, making a strong first impression, and maintaining a positive attitude throughout the interview. You’ll even have the chance to participate in mock interviews with our experienced mentors, who will provide constructive feedback to help you refine your approach.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication is key during interviews. We teach you how to articulate your thoughts clearly, listen actively, and engage with your interviewer. This section also addresses body language—because folding your arms and avoiding eye contact is not the best way to win people over.
• College Application Relevance: Many colleges now conduct interviews as part of the admissions process. Having a strong resume and solid interview skills can set you apart from other candidates, demonstrating your readiness for college and your ability to communicate effectively. Additionally, a well-crafted resume can be included with your college applications to highlight your extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and other accomplishments.
